The image depicts: The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) is a Neoclassical monument in Berlin, Germany, built in the 18th century by King Frederick William II as a symbol of peace and a major city gate on the road to Brandenburg. Designed by Carl Gotthard Langhans, the gate is topped by the Quadriga, a statue of the goddess of victory.
