The Departed blu-ray Martin Scorsese/Leo DeCaprio

In my personal top 5 Scorsese films, this remake of China’s Infernal Affairs is even better, featuring a pill-popping Leo undercover as an Irish gangster in a crew lead by Jack Nicholson who won the Oscar for his hilarious and terrifying performance as Frank Costigan, who has his own man inside the Boston police department, played by a never-better Matt Damon. Throw in Alec Baldwin as the Chief and Mark Wahlberg in his greatest and most natural role ever (his introductory scene with Leo and Martin Sheen is the best I’ve ever seen him act) and you have a certified crime classic by the best to ever make them, Marty Scorsese. I throw this on about once a month, it’s so freakin great.
