Two vintage baitcasting reels.
One Pflueger Akron number 1893L. The reel appears to be complete, but I am not sure what the handle side bearing cover should look like. It is different than the non-handle side. The reel turns freely, the clicker works. The line guide tracks normally. Good condition, needs cleaning.
One 'USL Brand' reel, incomplete. It is missing screws and one post. The clicker doesn't move. The only other writing I can see is on the reel foot, it might be stamped '50.' There is no sign this reel ever had a line guide.
The only information I could find on USL Brand was a possible link to Winchester reels of the same era. Winchester reels are valuable in good condition, but this reel is absolutely NOT in good condition.
