I got this bedspread back in the late 90s when, in my 30s, I was finally able to create the Pretty Pretty Princess Bedroom of my childhood dreams. But I no longer have a queen bed, so it needs a new home.
Despite its fancy delicate appearance, this is machine washable. The main fabric is a satiny polyester, the ruffle is sheer mesh. Both are embroidered with purple flowers and green leaves & stems. It's gorgeous and, because polyester, surprisingly warm for something so thin. The only flaw is a couple of places in the hem along the top where the stitching has come loose (see photo), an easy repair.
Measures 112" long, 110" total width (base is 58" wide with a 26" drop on either side)
