Here are 4 yacon rhizomes 1 free. these are started indoors 60 to 90 days before planting outside after frost. Then harden them off and plant in full sun. we have been growing them since 2014 and get 4 to 6lbs per plant in zone 5a
1 rhizome will grow one plant and the tubers are what you harvest after frost kill the top growth. The average tuber harvest is 3 to 5 lbs in our garden in tropical climates it can range 15 to 30 lbs
