Foliage color variety enhances any garden or open space, and this long oval leafed tree transforms through the seasons from light bright green, thru dark pine to fall colors. In the spring it has plentiful yellow-white waxy open bell shaped flowers. The ripe persimmon is richly sweet and almost nutty in flavor. Your trees begin to bare fruit as early as 2-3 years from initial planting.
Persimmon trees are deciduous, so it is best to plant several trees for optimum fruiting. Need another within a mile radius for pollination.
