For sale is a vintage Coleman lantern, model 220F/228F, manufactured in 1965, a classic double-mantle design perfect for collectors or camping enthusiasts. This green lantern features its original glass globe (marked for Coleman, No. 290C043) and the iconic Sunshine of the Night branding on the fuel tank. Dated 65 on the bottom, this piece from the mid-1960s carries nostalgic value for Coleman fans. The lantern is untested, so its functionality is unknownit may work with some restoration. It includes one mantle (the fabric mesh bag that glows to produce light), tied to one of the burner tubes, but the second mantle is missing, and the existing one may need replacement due to age.
