TS-664 is one of the latest NAS by QNAP that is capable of upgrading to QuTS Hero and ZFS capabilities (most of older QNAP will NOT be able to do that and still quite expensive. I upgraded the memory to 16GB in order to use ZFS and also added QWA-AC2600 wifi card by QNAP (over $250 value) so that I could have to freedom of using it away from my router as a wireless NAS. I tried to use a 3rd party option, but none of them works. You can only used QNAP card and there is only one model available. I have had this only about a year, but I had to upgrade because I needed more drive bays. This one comes with 6 drive-bay and will take 24TB drives for the total RAW capacity of a whopping 144TB (I've used Exos 24TB by Seagate with no issue whatsoever). The NAS comes without any HDD, but I have dozens of drives I can bundle if you want (Please ask about the details). The NAS has been used very mildly in a home network environment as a media file storage. It is in excellent condition.
