From my 93 year old mother's collection of rare & vintage fine jewelry.
Elegantly crafted Japanese Beetle ring. Adorned with a garnet and 22 marcasite settings.
The Japanese Beetle carries symbolic meanings in various cultures. (see last pic)
As for longevity, mom lived her last 43 years in Japan and made it to 93 year old.
