This is a lovely little vintage silverplate box, lined with maroon-red velvet. It is marked on the bottom with "Regent Square". The box is 4.25" wide & 3" front to back. It is 2" high, including the feet which are 3/8" inches tall. The lower half of the box, which is lined with the red velvet, is 1.25" tall (not including the feet), and the top is 3/8" wide. The top is decorated with raised roses on a vine that winds around the outer edge of the lid (very pretty). The lower half of the box has roses around the center with a vine-like line encircling the top and below the row of roses. It has four feet, a hinge at the back-center and a small ledge in front to lift the lid. The inner area of the lid is decorated with a raised squiggly design. It's a beautiful little box, perfect to present a gift inside or to collect your favorite small jewelry pieces of other secret treasures
