2 small miniature woven baskets 4”x3”
2 vintage Korean straw dolls, also known as broom straw dolls or folk art dolls.
Origin: They are typically handcrafted in Korea and are a form of traditional folk art, often dating back to the mid-20th century. These dolls are made from woven straw, often with hand-painted faces and details like hats and baskets.
Cultural Significance: While some were simply decorative, others, known as "Jeung" (제웅), were historically used in rituals to ward off misfortune in Korea.
